I was reading a friend's blog today, seemed pretty upset about some issues.
Personally, I believe that people shouldn't think that others are making assumptions about certain situations related to them, because if they realise, technically, they themselves are making assumptions that the others are making assumptions.
I have learnt from the past that if we want to seek the truth, we usually have to go ask the person, or persons the truth, personally, hear the truth from their own mouths, because assumptions and hearing from others are not very accurate ways to make conclusions about anything.
Also, there usually is a reason that a big fire happens, its because little tiny sparks started in the first place, you may have started the sparks unintentionally, but then again, others could have started the sparks because they had personally reasons.
In the end, what matters most is, if you accept that you have also done wrong, and this is the consequence you have to deal with, face it and not make enemies from it.
Good people at heart, usually will always be a good individual.
